Anjuman Shari Shian President Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi expressed concern over the drug abuse in Kashmir.
In his address during Friday congregational prayers atImambara Budgam, Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi said that authorities shouldmake sure that the smugglers and peddlers are punished severely.
He said lately the rampant drug abuse by Kashmiri youth hascaused acute concern throughout the Valley. The problem is so steep that everyparent is concerned about it.
Alarmed by the severity of the problem, he appealed topeople to take part in “fighting this evil on a societal level” and told themnot to wait for the government which, he said, is in a “deep slumber”.
Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi while welcoming the AmarnathYatris said government should not halt the train service and curb the movementof the people.
