Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Conference provincial president Jammu, former MLA Poonch Aijaz Jan on Thursday called on party vice president Omar Abdullah here at party head quarters Nawa e Subha, Srinagar.
The YNC provincial president Jammu discussed wide range ofissues concerning the party with the vice president. Aijaz apprised the vicepresident about the appalling condition of the Mughal road. He said that theroad that was deemed to provide an alternate link to Kashmir via PirpanchalDistricts hasn’t risen up to the expectations in wake of the sheer negligenceof successive governments after 2015. He said the condition of the road ispitiable.
The NC leader decried the slack attitude of the governoradministration for not ensuring augmentation of road infrastructure on theroute. He asserted that the route if developed properly would bring developmentdividends to the populations living along the highway along Poonch, Rajouri,and Shopian districts.
