AIP supporters took out the protest march on Monday at Press Enclave to press for the return mortal remains of Muhammad Afzal Guru.

Speaking to media persons, state secretary AIP Tanveer Hussain said, “The curfew like situation imposed in Kashmir indicates that hanging of Guru was a defeat for New Delhi,” he said.

He said AIP would continue its demand for return of mortal remains of Guru. “It is unprecedented in the history of civilized nations to imprison the mortal remains and does not suit India’s democratic credentials,” he said.

Meanwhile, International Forum of Justice Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo also called for the return of the mortal remains of Guru.
