Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), senior leader Naeem Akhtar, toured various far-flung areas in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday to get the first-hand appraisal of the problems being faced by the people in these remote hamlets of the constituency, a statement said.
It said, “Akhtar visited Chandaji area where recently two young persons were killed due to the windstorm and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families. He questioned the delay in disbursement of ex-gratia in favour of the next of kin of the victims.
