Senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain Thursday said all parties were being treated equally and that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti was resorting to drama.
“I also had to go somewhere but the administration informed me that it was not possible for me to go today as I am a highly-protected person. Security was deployed at other places for election. I didn’t cry,” Hussain said talking to reporters here. “Nothing will happen by staging drama. Mehbooba actually doesn’t want to go anywhere. She has candidates. They will campaign for her. The truth is that she is not getting the support of the people in this election. This is the reason why she is perturbed.”
Hussain said all parties were being treated equally. “Our candidate wanted me to go for a road show but the administration only allowed us to conduct a meeting and I am happy with it,” he said.
