Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari Thursday condemned the killing of Satpal Nischal, owner of Nischal Jewelers, who was fired at by unknown gunmen at his shop at Sarai Payeen in Srinagar.
A statement of Apni Party issued here quoted Bukhari as terming the incident “gruesome” and demanded that the culprits be booked and given stern punishment as warranted under the law.
“Such inhuman and barbaric incidents are abhorred and unacceptable to any civilised society in the world and the same should be condemned by one and all,” he said in the statement.
It said that while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Bukhari prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family and friends.
