A delegation of All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) led by its chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina called upon Vice Chancellor University of Kashmir Prof Talat Ahmad at KU.
The delegation put forth its demand of introducing a MastersProgram in Punjabi at the University.
Responding to the demand of the delegation Prof Talatassured full support of the University administration and informed thedelegation that he would make serious efforts for the introduction of thecourse at PG level at the varsity and take it to various bodies of theUniversity for discussion and approval.
Prof Talat informed the delegation that he would alsorequest the concerned quarters in the government for sanctioning of variousteaching positions in this regard.
The delegation thanked the VC for patiently listening to itsdemand and hoped that PG program in Punjabi at KU would soon become a reality.
