Army Camp Kalgai organised an educational assistance program at Government Primary School at Jhula village.
At the programme the army distributed training aids and stationery items to help the school provide better learning opportunities to its students and to boost the morale of the young minds, an army handout said.
“Army is committed to enhance the already existing literacy initiatives by developing a mutual understanding between Jawan and Awaam through such initiatives. The event was well received and students and teachers of school appreciated the gesture,” the handout said.
It said the army continues to “make efforts to develop a strong sense of responsibility in the young minds towards the nation and their own future.”
