Army hold interaction with youth at Wusan

Army on Thursday held an interactionwith youth at Wusan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

 An Army spokesman in astatement here said that the interaction was held to “motivate and guide” theyouth to join the Army.  “The main aim ofthe interaction was to share details with the locals and the young aspirants about the recruitment procedurein the Army by Mamar Army Camp ex Army Garrison Wusan,” he added.

   

Meanwhile, BrigadierParamvir Singh, Commander, Shakti Vijay Brigade interacted with students ofArmy Goodwill School, Hajinar. A total of 245 students and 31 teachers andstaff including the principal were present for the event, the spokesman said.

The Commander, during his address lauded the commendableperformance of the school, not only in the academics, but also in sports andextra co-curricular activities as well. The Commander also emphasized on theaspects of importance of education, ill effects of social media, need to curbsocial evils like drug addiction, stress management and other issues.
