Army holds dental, veterinary camp in Gurez

Army has conducted a medical, dental and veterinary camp at Kanzalwan village in Gurez.

According to a defence spokesperson of 15 Corps, the campwas preceded by a painting competition for the children of Kanzalwan and Bagtorvillaged. Around 70 children participated in the painting competition. The bestpaintings were awarded with prizes.

   

“The team of doctors for the camp included one lady MedicalOfficer, Male Medical Officer, Dental Officer and Veterinary Officer along withofficials from Civil Administration,” the spokesperson said.

“Apart from treating patients and distributing freemedicines for common ailments, the doctors also guided the locals on basic andmandatory hygiene and sanitation, Health Awareness and precautionary measuresto be taken in the prevailing rainy and cold weather conditions.”

A total of 250 patients were treated during the camp.
