Army camp Gutlibagh, Wusan military garrison, organised a cleanliness drive on Saturday under Swachhta Hi Sewa programme. The students of New Light Public School Gutlibagh attended the function.
The patrol addressed the school students and apprised themof the importance of cleanliness and motivated them to keep the area clean andhygienic, an army handout said.
The function was followed by a cleanliness drive in theschool premise where the students cleaned their classrooms and the surrounding.The school teachers also joined for the noble cause, the statement said.
The students marched on the roads to spread the message ofSwachh Bharat. “Teachers were grateful to the army for this noble gesture ofspreading awareness,” the statement said.
