Machhal Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Kupwara Monday organised a ‘Veer Nari’ online meet.
A statement of Army issued here said that as part of the annual ‘Atoot Bandhan’ initiative, Machhal Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Kupwara organised the felicitation programme for the ‘Veer Naris’ every year.
It said that to make the event possible, the volunteers of the battalion travelled all the way from Machhal to Madurai in Tamil Nadu, Bhavnagar and Vadodara in Gujarat, Gorakhpur in UP, Bhagalpur in Bihar, Sangrur in Punjab, Ujjain in MP, Jhunjhunu and Bhilwara in Rajasthan and Satara, Sangali, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Parbhani, Beed and Mumbai in Maharashtra.
