Army on Monday said a soldier was killed while foiling an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“#ChinarCorpsCdr & All ranks salute the supreme sacrifice of Sep Pushpendra Singh, who laid down his life in foiling infiltration bid in #Tangdhar Sector on 13 Aug 18 and offer condolences to the family,” army said on Twitter.
Reports said that the soldier injured early morning today was airlifted to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar where he succumbed.
