Army soldier killed as Indo-Pak armies exchange fire along north Kashmir border

An army soldier was killed on Thursday as the arnies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Machhil sector of Kupwara district in north Kashmir. 

“Ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Machil Sector of Kupwara district at around 1045 hours today. Own troops retaliated strongly. One soldier killed in enemy fire,” said an army spokesman.

   

The armies of the two countries exchanged gunfire along Line of control in Ringpayeen, Tantray and Khan Basti areas of Machhil.
