Army soldier wounded in border firing in north Kashmir’s Uri

An army soldier was wounded after the armies of India and Pakistan traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Reports said that the Pakistani troops fired at Indian soldiers in Kamalkote area of Uri.

   

They said that Indian soldiers retaliated, leading to a brief exchange of fire, in which a soldier was wounded.

The injured soldier was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
