An army soldier who was wounded in cross-LoC shelling on Saturday in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir succumbed today.
The army soldier was posted on LoC duty in Poonch where hereceived injuries on Saturday evening in cross border firing and was shifted toPoonch army hospital for treatment.
However, he succumbed to injuries at Poonch army hospitalduring the previous night.
On Saturday evening, intense cross border firing andshelling took place in Shahpur and Kirni areas.
