Ashura holiday in J&K on Sunday, August 30: Govt

The Jammu and Kashmir government has said that the holiday on account of Ashura will be observed on Sunday instead of Saturday.

In an order, the government said: “The holiday on account of ‘Ashoora’ shall be observed on August 30th, Sunday instead of 29 August, 2020, in the government offices and educational institutions of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.”
