Athrout bags award for healthcare delivery

Athrout, a local NGO, has bagged top award in ‘NGO in Healthcare category’ by Healers of India. 

Created by Network 18 and Apollo Hospitals Group, Healers of India is a ground-breaking initiative to identify and honour the unsung heroes who are contributing their best and working tirelessly to ensure better healthcare for India’s rural population.

   

This initiative focusses on rural India to bring those unsung heroes who work silently and are rarely appreciated for their selfless work, into the mainstream media.

The award was received by general secretary of Athrout,Mukhtar Ahmad. Chairman Athrout Bashir Nadvi said “it is proud moment forus that our humanitarian efforts have been recognized.” Athrout runs adialysis centre at Nawa Kadal besides pharmacy and ambulances services forneedy patients.
