Under Civic Action Programme, Awantipora police organised a Talent Hunt Programme “ChoonaHaiAsmaan” today at Police Line Awantipora in which students of various educational institutions of Police District Awantipora participated, a police spokesman said
ADC AwantiporaShabir Ahmad Raina -KAS and SSP AwantiporaTahir Saleem -JKPS welcomed the students who performed and the civilians of theAwantipora and its adjacent areas who witnessed the programme with greatenthusiasm and thank them for sparing their valuable time in making the eventsuccessful.
The students of different age groups presented various folksongs, folk dances and folk gazals. Three students each from the age group of5-12 years, 13-18 years and 19-25 years were selected for range levelcompetition. Trophies and cash Awards were given to all the performers fortheir splendid performance.
Participants and general public were served with snacks andlunch on culmination of the programme.
