Secretary PWD (R&B) Khursheed Ahmad Shah along with DDC Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani today inaugurated 30-meter span girder bridge at Babapora village in Kulgam. The bridge has been constructed at a cost of 392.98 lakh and will connect the Babapora and its adjacent villages to the district headquarter of Kulgam.
Earlier a 10-meter span bridge was also inaugurated by theCommissioner Secretary R&B at Ganjipora village. The 10-meter long bridge has been constructedby R&B at a cost of Rs 1.05 crore. It was given out that the bridge will benefit more than 20 villages ofthe area and people will get direct connectivity to Jammu Srinagar Nationalhighway, an official handout said.
