Bandipora mosques blare out pro-freedom, Burhan taranas

Reports said the villagers of Ayathmula, Ajar, Khayar, Papchan, Aragam, and other adjoining villages assembled at one place where tents were erected to have offer prayers for Wani.

Hundreds of people in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district are on the streets to pay homage to Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.

Reports said the villagers of Ayathmula, Ajar, Khayar, Papchan, Aragam, and other adjoining villages assembled at one place where tents were erected to have offer prayers for Wani.

A large number of women also participated in the prayer meet, who sang songs eulogizing Wani.

Reports also said that the local mosques were blaring out pro-freedom and pro- Burhan taranas.
