President, Anjuman Shari Shain, and senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi condemned the killing of Arshad Ahmad Dar of Chenabal, Pattan and demanded compensation for the family.
“The use of brutal force has snatched the loved one of apoor family,” Aga Syed, in a statement today, said.
“The only fault of the protesters was that they weredemanding justice for a little rape victim,” he said.
He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul andpatience and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Aga Syed said, “The protests have borne fruit as the courthas taken cognizance of the case.”
He appealed to the people to resume the normal life and waitfor the verdict of the court.
Dar, who was critically injured during clashes at Chenabalarea of Pattan on Srinagar-Baramulla Highway succumbed at SKIMS here lateWednesday evening. He was undergoing treatment in the hospital since Monday.
