Bandipora rape: JKHCBA to abstain from work in solidarity with the victim

Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) onMonday decided to abstain from court work as a mark of solidarity with thethree-year-old rape victim.

“HCBA has decided to abstain from court work today inprotest against the kidnapping and rape of three-year-old girl in Malikpora,Sumbal,” read a statement issued by the JKHCBA.

   

There has been an outrage over horrific rape of athree-year-old girl in Trigam, Sumbal.

Police have already arrested the accused, who is a residentof Malikpora Trigam Sumbal.

Massive protests have erupted in Kashmir with the peopledemanding speedy trial of the case.

The police have also detained the school who allegedlyissued a certificate to the accused declaring him a minor.
