Protests erupted in many parts of Srinagar city on Mondayover the rape of a minor girl in Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandiporadistrict last week.
Reports said that protests erupted in Saida Kadal, GawKadal, Almagari Bazar and Shalimar areas of the city.
Schools and other business establishments have also beenclosed in the city while the movement of public transport has been affected.
There has been an outrage over horrific rape of athree-year-old girl in Trigam, Sumbal.
Police have already arrested the accused, who is a residentof Malikpora Trigam Sumbal.
