Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) state general secretary (organization) Ashok Koul on Thursday visited the family of slain police officer Arshad Khan in Srinagar to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
According to a statement issued here, Koul was accompanied byBJP leaders including Arif Raja, Altaf Thakur, Asif Masood, Ashok Bhat andNazir Gilkar.
“Koul met the bereaved family members and expressed hiscondolence on behalf of the BJP,” the statement said.
Koul assured all possible support to the bereaved family,especially the brothers of slain officer. Later, the BJP leaders offeredspecial fateh prayers for the departed soul.
