The body of 47-year-old missing man was found in Rakh Hygam Wetland in Sopore on Monday.
Police said that Abdul Majeed Dar, son of Ghulam Muhammad Dar was found in the wetland in Hygam area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
It said Dar had been missing after he left his home on Monday afternoon on his boat in the wetland area.
With the help of locals, Police launched an operation to trace him and, hours later, found his body in the wetland.
His body was taken for medico-legal formalities following which it was handed over to his heirs.
