BOPEE to extend date for submission of CET forms

Students preparing for the J&K Common Entrance Test (CET) on Saturday appealed authorities at Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) to extend the date for submission of online applications.

The aspirants said the Board has fixed March 31 as last datefor submission of the forms. “Amid scare of COVID-19 and lockdown, it is notpossible for us to submit the forms,” said one aspirant, appealing forextension in the date.

   

The students said they have to visit local internet cafés tosubmit their forms given the non-availability of high speed 4G internet inJ&K.

Chairman JKBOPEE, Shafiq Ahmad Raina said the date will beextended after March 31. “We understand students will face inconveniences sothe date for submission of forms will be extended,” Raina said. He said thenotification for extension of the date will be issued on March 15.
