Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari Monday welcomed Nishada Parveen, the Block Development Council Chairperson Teetwal-Karnah block of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district along with her associates for joining Apni Party at its Srinagar office on Monday.
A statement of Apni Party issued here said Bukhari said impressed upon her to carry out the developmental activities mandated under Panchayat Raj Act in letter and spirit.
The statement said besides Parveen, the new entrants who joined Apni Party included ChowdharyMudasir, GhulamMurtazaMagray, GhulamSarwar Rather and MushtaqHussain Shah.
It said that while speaking on the occasion, Parveen said that she was convinced with the agenda and performance of the party leadership that had motivated her to join the party.
She pledged to work indefatigably to get the people rid of the sufferings in her block, the statement said.
