Barely few hours after his abduction in south Kashmir’ Shopian district, the bullet-riddled body of a youth was recovered at a village in adjoining Pulwama district, police said today.
A police spokesman said the bullet perforated body of Nadeem Manzoor was retrieved from Nikloora village of Pulwama disitrict during the pre-dawn hours on Friday.
He said that Manzoor was abducted by the militants from his native village of Safanagri, Shopian on Thursday evening.
“A case has been registered in this regard under relevant sections of law and investigation initiated,” said the spokesman, in a statement on Friday.
