Burglars decamped with cash and other items from at least eight shops in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district last night, reports said.
Quoting officials, news agency KNO reported that a case under relevant sections has been registered in the concerned police station and that the police was investigating the details of stolen property.
The heist created an atmosphere of anger among locals who demanded a stern action against the culprits.
