By killing Manan Wani, New Delhi has surrendered to his arguments:

Awami Ithehad Party (AIP) president Er Rasheed on Thursday said killing of scholar turned militant Manan Wani reflects New Delhi has “surrendered to his valuable arguments”.

In a statement, Rasheed said: “New Delhi responded to Manan Wani’s thought provoking write ups by eliminating him through bullets and has thus surrendered to his valuable arguments”.

He added: “No matter Wani was holding gun in his hands, but his powerful pen has been silenced by bullets. However it may take long for deep state to defeat his arguments.”

Rasheed said need of the hour is to hold talks with all stake holders “especially militants.”

“Without taking bold initiatives and just relying on security agencies will change nothing on the ground,” he said.

Meanwhile, Rasheed condemned use of force on protestors at Shartgund Bala and its adjoining areas.
