Government forces on Sunday evening launched a cordon and search operation in Sopore locality of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, which was later on called off peacefully.
An official said that army’s 22 RR unit, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the personnel of CRPF launched a joint operation in Zaloora village of Sopore.
He said the operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
He said the CASO was later called off peacefully.
