Security forces launched Cordon and Search Operations (CASO)s in some villages in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
A police official said that joint teams of Army, CentralReserve Police Force (CRPF) and SOG men ring fenced the Monghama and Drabgamvillages of district and launched a search operation following the inputs aboutthe presence of militants.
He said the forces also laid a siege around Pampore town andcarried out searches.
All the three operations, however, were later called off asno militant was found in these areas,” the official added.
