Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) chief, Ghulam Ahmad Mir Monday said that chaos among the party cadre regarding an alliance and withdrawal of security to the Congress leaders were the main reason for their defeat in the Parliamentary polls in Jammu and Kashmir. “Withdrawal of security deprived the party leaders to move out and reach out to the people for campaigning,” local news agency KNS quoted Mir as having said.
He stated that there was ‘Dangal’ in Ladakh by BJP followingwhich they (Congress) approached the Election Commission but no action wastaken in this regard.
