A civilian was injured after a masked gunmen fired at him in Kiloora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday night.
Local reports said that a masked gunman fired upon Kifayat Ahmad Mir, son of Bashir Ahmad Mir of Molu Shopian at 9:30 pm, leaving him wounded.
Mir was rushed to sub district hospital Shopian where from he was referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment. His condition, as per hospital sources, is stable.
Superintendent of police Shopian Ambarkar Siriram Dinker told Greater Kashmir that they have registered a case and initiated a probe.
