A youth who was critically injured during clashes with the government forces in Shopian succumbed on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Tamsheel Ahmad Khan of Vehil area of the district.
Reports said that Khan was critically injured after being hit by a bullet during clashes with the forces.
He was shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar where he succumbed.
Two militants were killed in the gunfight while twenty civilian protesters were injured in the clashes that erupted near the site of the gunfight.
