The students of degree college Ganderbal on Wednesday boycotted their classes and staged a protest against the Kathua rape-and-murder.
The students assembled in the premises of the college and held protests, demanding death to the culprits involved in Kathua case.
Chanting slogans to demand hanging of the culprits of Kathua rape-and-murder, the students came out of the college premises and staged a sit-in on Ganderbal-Shalbigh Road.
Later, police reached at the spot and chased away the protesting students to clear the road for traffic movement.
