Commissioner, Land records (north Kashmir) Khurshid Ahmad Sanai Wednesday reviewed functioning of the Revenue Department besides taking stock of the digitization and progress of writing and updation of Jamabandis in Bandipora district.
He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue,Bandipora, Reyaz Ahmad Beigh; Tehsildars; NaibTehsildars and Patwaris of thedistrict.
The meeting discussed threadbare various issues pertainingto the department including digitization of land records, measures being takenfor removal of encroachments on state and Kahcharai land, status of writing ofJamabandi and Girdawaris, attestation of pending mutations, conducting ofGirdawari Rabi and submission of Goshwara-Jinswara, distribution of pass books,inspection of PatwarKhana, report of Karguzari, availability of Patwaries inthe field and ban on conversion of agriculture land.
Sanai directed for early completion of writing andcomputerization of Jamabandis and meeting the deadline of March 31 so that allthe scanned documents were updated.
