Commissioner SMC Athar Aamir Khan today convened a meeting of all the Ward Officers along with the Building Inspectors to take a detailed ward wise review of Building activities and Enforcement.
The Commissioner reviewed all the 35 SMC administrative wards and took stock of permissions being approved in those wards, the status of number of illegal instructions and demolition drives.
Joint Commissioner Planning was directed to conduct a day long capacity building programs in two phases to all ward officers and Building inspectors.
Besides Joint Commissioner Adm Syed AbulQasim, Joint Commissioner Works Ishtiyaq Ahmed Shah , Joint Commissioner Planning Ghulam Hassan were present in the meeting.
