Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee and National Conference have expressed anguish over the losses caused to property due to fire incident at Sherbagh Anantnag and have asked the administration to compensate the fire victims on fast track basis.
Describing the incident as very unfortunate, JKPCC chief G A Mir said that it’s unfortunate 11 shops and 3 houses were gutted completely in the fire incident. ” District administration should asses the losses and compensate the victims on fast track basis,” he added.
Meanwhile, NC district president Anantnag Altaf Kaloo said that the need of hour is to increase the capacity and man power of the fire services department to meet the rising demands throughout the state. “I impress upon the administration to assess the damages to property and recompense the losses to traders and other affected families at an earliest,” he said.
South zone NC president Dr Bashir Ahmad Veeri has also expressed sympathies with the affected traders and families.
