The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) in a meeting of senior party functionaries today held threadbare discussions over the recently concluded parliament elections in JK.
The party said that Congress, after auspicious occasion Eid,will get the feedback from the cadres to chalk out a future strategy andemphasized the leaders to stay connected with the people at grass root level inorder to ensure resolution of the problems confronting them.
JKPCC President G.A. Mir said that the election resultscannot break Congress party’s resolve to work for the wellbeing and developmentof the people, besides fighting against the menace of politics of betrayal,exploitation and opportunism.
He also said that Congress is fully capable to fight againstthe communal and fascist forces, and won’t allow them to vitiate the atmosphereof harmony to serve their vested interests.
He said Congress has the legacy of serving people inwhatever situation and it will continue to remain committed to work for theinclusive development of the State and people as well.
