Congress urges govt to address J&K’s economic, unemployment crisis

Jammu and Kashmir PradeCongress Committee (JKPCC) on Tuesday urged government to address economic and unemployment crisis rather than showing door to already employed people.

According to statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a meeting of JKPCC senior leaders was held under the chair of vice president and former MLA Haji Abdul Rashid Dar. At the occasion, senior party leaders reviewed the organizational affairs and activities and held threadbare discussions over the party activities in Kashmir. Meeting urged party leaders and activists to gear up for political activities across Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Those who attended meeting include General Secretary JKPCC Surinder Singh Channi, District President Abdul Gani Khan, Abdul Qayoom Shah, Mohammad Sultan, Shameema Raina, Mir Rovais, BDC Chairman Umer Jan, Rashid Dar (Sangrama), Nazir Ahmad Lone, Sheikh Amir and others.

The meeting hailed party President GA Mir for his tireless efforts to strengthen the organization from grass root level and felt confident that Congress party will emerge stronger under his President-ship.
