Policein north Kashmir’s Bandipora district have seized 12 vehicles and detained 44persons for violating prohibitory orders issued in the district to prevent thespread of novel coronavirus disease, officials said on Wednesday.
Apolice official said that they have lodged six FIRs, detained 44 persons andseized a dozen vehicles for violation of the prohibitory orders.
Restrictionswere intensified in the district with Jammu and Kashmir police, CRPF and SOGsealing the roads across the district to prevent the movement of people.
Jammuand Kashmir, like other parts of the country, has been under a lockdown to curbthe spread of Coronavirus from past week.
