Covid-19: Family members of four infected persons put under quarantine in Hajin

The family membersof four persons from Hajin area who tested positive for coronavirus yesterdayhave been put under quarantine in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officialssaid on Thursday.

An official saidthat the whole area has been put under lockdown while the family members of theinfected persons have been shifted to a quarantine centre established atKashmir Tibbiya College Shilvath Sumbal. Early in the morning, the municipalcommittee Hajin also started a sanitisation drive in the area, he said.

   

A local revenueofficial said they have shifted the families, residing within a radius of 300meters from the quarantine centres, to different locations.

The four personswho tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday had participated in areligious congregation along with an infected person from Srinagar, who diedtoday morning at CD hospital.
