COVID-19: Kashmir University postpones PG exams, internals till March 31

The authorities at Kashmir University (KU) have postponed all the Post-Graduate (PG) examinations and internals scheduled at both the main and satellite campuses till March 31.

The circular in this regard was issued by deputy registrar academics, KU on Saturday in view of the COVID-19 scare and the advisory issued by the government to avoid congregations.

   

“All heads, directors and coordinators of the main campus and satellite campuses are hereby informed that all the PG-examination including internals have been deferred till March 31,” the circular reads.

“In the interest of the students, the concerned teachers are advised to upload the study material of their respective subjects on the University website,” it reads.

In a separate notice, the varsity administration has postponed all sports activities till further orders.

“In view of the prevailing circumstances due to spread of COVID-19 and the advisory issued by the authorities, as a precautionary measure all sports activities are hereby postponed till further orders,” reads a notice issued by Coordinator directorate of physical education and sports.

Also, the directorate has ordered the closure of the health club of the directorate till further orders.”As a precautionary measure, the health club of the directorate shall remain closed till further orders,” reads the notice.
