‘Cow vigilantism campaign’ of RSS will taste defeat in J&K: Congress

Asserting that BJP’s “divide and rule” policy has serious ramifications, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has emphasized all “secular forces in the country” to side with the Congress which was committed to “uproot the BJP-RSS from the country”.

Mir said the cow vigilantism campaign “unleashed by the RSS”will taste the defeat in J&K, news agency KNS said.

   

“The Bhaderwah killing (is) the direct fallout of BJP’sagenda of triggering communal war in the country,” Mir said, while seekingexemplary punishment to culprits.

Mir was reacting to the killing of 50-year old man allegedlyby cow vigilantes in Bhaderwah and described the loss of precious as mostunfortunate, shameful and condemnable.

He urged the Governor administration to take early andeffective measures to ascertain the identity of the culprits “so as to ensurethat peace was restored in Bhaderwah”.

Mir said the “communal” and “fascist” policies of theBJP-RSS “have vitiated the atmosphere in the country.”

He said Congress party “is winning the elections with athumping majority and will do everything to bring the country at a right track,besides ensuring that atmosphere of unity and secular fabric in the country wassecured.”
