Senior CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury on said Government should arrange special Transport arrangements for Jammu and Kashmir students and workers who are stranded in different areas of the country.
“Special train services should be arranged for them so thatthey can go join their families. When government can bring people from othercountries, why cannot facilitate travel of people in their own country,” hesaid.
Meanwhile, CPI (M) leader M Y Tarigami demanded facilitatingsafe return of J&K residents stranded outside.
He suggested that government should prepare a database ofthose stranded within and outside J&K and take up the matter with therespective state governments.
