CRPF man dies in road accident in south Kashmir's Awantipora

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man died in a road accident on Saturday in Awantipora area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Reports said that a CRPF vehicle turned turtle on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Kachachkoot area of Awantipora, leaving a soldier injured.

The injured, identified as Gulab Chand of CRPF 130 battalion, was shifted to Primary Health Center (PHC) Awantipora where he succumbed, said an official.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and the body of the deceased was sent for legal formalities, said the official.
