The Central Paramilitary Police Force (CRPF) Wednesday remembered its slain constable Shakar Lal Barala, who was killed in a gunfight with militants on this day last year at Kara Nagar here.
In a statement issued here, the CRPF said the slainconstable had joined the force on 21 September 2004 and served in various partsof the country. “Today, 23 Bn CRPF paid tributes to Shankar Lal Barala on hisfirst death anniversary at unit Head Quarter Karan Nagar. All personnel of 23Bn CRPF gathered at one place and observed wreath lying ceremony.”
