Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Monday organised a social service camp to serve refreshments to the devotees attending MelaKheerBhawani here.
Thousands of devotees including men, women and children, whohad come from different parts of the state and the country, thronged the campand consumed the refreshment served by the student volunteers, faculty members,DSW members and other officials of the varsity, a spokesperson of CUK said.
Central University of Jammu (CUJ) Vice-Chancellor, ProfAshok Aima also visited the camp and appreciated the CUK for providingrefreshment to the devotees. He also distributed the refreshments among thedevotees.
The devotees also expressed gratitude to the employees ofthe CUK for serving the refreshment.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehrajud Din Mir and Registrar, Prof.Fayaz Ahmad Nikka appreciated the volunteers and other staff members of theuniversity for participating in the camp.
